Working in partnership with The City and County of Honolulu, the premier junior golf organizations in the state, the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association (HSJGA) and First Tee – Hawaii (FTH) have become the operator of the driving range at the Ala Wai Golf Course.
The newly formed “Ala Wai Golf Center” encompasses the driving range, headquarters of the HSJGA/FTH and retail Golf Shop.
HOURS of operation:
DRIVING RANGE: 6:30 AM–10 PM Daily (last bucket sold at 9 PM)
GOLF LESSONS:
Golf lessons are also being offered via our golf professional and First Tee – Hawaii Program and Range Manager Jonathan Strait
as well as via Mike Matheny, PGA. Both can be reached at (808) 312-4424.

Our driving range
Ala Wai Golf Course has a long history as a ‘local’ favorite and the most popular municipal golf course on Oahu. Customers can now enjoy the updated and renovated driving range, chipping, and putting areas.
HSJGA | FTH Headquarters
Ala Wai Golf Center is the new location and headquarters for both the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association and First Tee – Hawaii.
The Hawaii State Junior Golf Association/First Tee Hawaii are youth organizations framed around the game of golf that work to develop and grow Hawaii’s Keiki players into tomorrow’s leaders and champions.
Callaway Golf
With an exclusive agreement with Callaway golf, Ala Wai Golf Center features their newest clubs for rentals. Additionally, Callaway apparel and other hard goods are showcased in retail.
